Hiram Imaging

A Joint Venture With Diagnostic Imaging Specialists

Welcome to Hiram Imaging. This website is part of our effort to be informative and accessible for both patients and physicians.

Diagnostic imaging is a highly sophisticated tool to help physicians determine the best course of treatment for their patients. To deliver maximum value for our imaging services, Hiram Imaging takes pride in performing two jobs exceptionally well:

  • We make the imaging experience comfortable, pleasant, safe and efficient for patients.
  • We provide superior service, quality and support for our patients referring physicians.

We want patients to leave Hiram Imaging with the confidence that their care was top-notch. That’s why we guarantee our performance to all patients and to their physicians. Please feel free to fill out our patient survey card and let us know about your experience at our center.

Hiram MRI

MAGNET: Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) uses a magnetic field and radio waves (no radiation) to create an image of many parts of the body, especially the brain, spine, and joints.

Hiram Imaging utilizes the Siemens MAGNETOM Espree 1.5T ultra wide bore, ultra short bore magnet, which represents the highest advances in MRI technology, including the most recent sophisticated diagnostic software upgrades. The 1.5T wide bore MRI system delivers better accommodations than any other high field design for the needs of all patients, including those who suffer from claustrophobia.

A typical exam will last between 20 and 45 minutes and requires no special preparation. You should eat normally and follow the normal dosage of your prescribed medications unless your doctor gives instructions to do otherwise.

For more information about your Hiram MRI procedure, see the Exam Preparation, What to Expect, and Frequently Asked Questions pages.

As a courtesy to all patients desiring to schedule appointments, we request that you provide a minimum of 24-hour notice for cancellation. Please understand that every appointment time is specifically reserved and custom designed for that patient’s particular medical condition and exam type. To efficiently refill a time-slot and accommodate all patients desiring to schedule, it is crucial we have as much notice of cancellation as possible. Thank you for your cooperation.
