  • We make the MRI experience comfortable, pleasant, safe and efficient for patients.
  • We provide superior service, quality and support for our patients’ referring physicians.

We want patients to leave Marietta Imaging with the confidence that their care was top-notch. That’s why we guarantee our performance to all patients and to their physicians. Please feel free to fill out our patient survey card and let us know about your experience at Marietta Imaging!

Marietta Imaging

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) uses a magnetic field and radio waves (no radiation) to create an image of many parts of the body, especially the brain, spine, and joints.

Marietta Imaging utilizes the Siemens MAGNETOM Espree 1.5T ultra short-bore, ultra wide-bore MRI, which represents the widest and shortest bore MRI in Marietta. The 1.5T wide bore MRI system delivers better accommodations than any other high field MRI design for the needs of all patients and physicians. With a 70cm MRI bore opening, Marietta Imaging can accommodate patients up to 550 pounds, and is perfect for patients who suffer from claustrophobia.

A typical exam will last between 20 and 45 minutes and requires no special preparation. You should eat normally and follow the normal dosage of your prescribed medications unless your doctor gives instructions to do otherwise.

For more information about your Marietta MRI procedure, see the Exam Preparation, What to Expect, and Frequently Asked Questions pages.

Choosing a Location for an MRI
Because an MRI is an expensive procedure, physicians tend to recommend one only when they feel that it is truly necessary. Patients who receive a referral for an MRI should follow through so that they can receive the most accurate diagnosis possible. The cost of an MRI varies widely, and patients should investigate their options to be able to find a lower-cost alternative. Quality of care is another critical factor in a patient’s decision.

We provide our Marietta MRI services at the most competitive prices to be better able to serve patients in the local area. We also offer an experienced staff of knowledgeable radiologists and MRI technologists, caring nurses, and expert physicians. Patients visiting any of our Atlanta MRI locations can be certain of good care.

We want patients to leave Marietta Imaging with the confidence that their care was top-notch. That’s why we guarantee our performance to all patients and to their physicians. Please feel free to fill out our patient survey card and let us know about your experience at our center.

As a courtesy to all patients desiring to schedule appointments, we request that you provide a minimum of 24-hour notice for cancellation. Please understand that every appointment time is specifically reserved and custom designed for that patient’s particular medical condition and exam type. To efficiently refill a time-slot and accommodate all patients desiring to schedule, it is crucial we have as much notice of cancellation as possible. Thank you for your cooperation.
