The Open Upright MRI allows certain exams to be performed while you are sitting or reclined. This weight-bearing imaging can help your doctor evaluate symptoms that may change when you’re upright. The open design also provides more space around and above you, which may feel more comfortable if you’re anxious about enclosed MRI machines.
